Dr. Nirmal Kaur
Dr. Kaur is the Director of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan. She serves as Principal Investigator on several clinical trials related to IBD, and is on the Medical Advisory Committee of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. She is also heavily involved in the education of trainees, including both residents and fellows.
Professionally, her interests include : Standardization of clinical care of IBD, Safety of biologic therapy, The interface of primary sclerosing cholangitis, liver transplant, and IBD, Population health management, Emerging therapies for IBD.
Dr. Kaur completed her residency and fellowship training at the University of Michigan in 2010. She completed her medical education at the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2004.
